About the centre
The Westminster Centre for Psychological Sciences (WCPS) is committed to high quality, practice-informed research with global impact. We embrace interdisciplinary approaches and strive for inclusivity both in how we work and what we do.
Work within our centre falls within five broad themes: health, stress and wellbeing; learning and development; brain, cognition and perception; identity, self and society; and forensic and investigative psychology.

Projects
Many of our research projects aim to give voice to those who are minoritised, disadvantaged or disempowered in some way. Our research has attracted funding from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), British Academy/Leverhulme as well as the Home Office, Ministry of Defence and industry.
Doctoral Research
We support an active and vibrant postgraduate research community. We are known for high-quality internationally recognised research, in a range of pure, practice-led and applied approaches.
